First Season Warranty – Another Way We Stand Behind Our Bulls

Above everything else, Flying H Genetics wants to make each of our customers happy and fully satisfied with their purchase. While we make every effort to provide cattle that are healthy and genetically fit your breeding needs, we also understand that sometimes unforeseen things happen.

To help ensure our customers are happy, we offer a first-season warranty that’s aimed at sharing the risk of buying cattle with our customers. Here’s a look at how our first-year death and injury warranty works and the protection in your investment that you receive with Flying H Genetics.

First-Year WarrantyCoverage

Flying H Genetics provides a warranty that lasts through the first breeding season or 6 months from the purchase date unless other arrangements are made. It covers all death and loss-of-use injuries except those caused by negligence or willful misconduct.

Claims

All claims must be made to Flying H Genetics within 24 hours of discovery and be accompanied by a complete diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian.

Injury

If the animal is injured, but it is not-life threatening, Flying H Genetics will work with the customer to supply a replacement at no cost until the original animal can be returned to service.

Loss Due to Injury

If the injury is permanent and prevents the bull from returning to service, Flying H Genetics will supply a replacement as close to the original bull as possible. At the end of the season, the customer can choose to keep the replacement animal or return him and receive full credit of the original animal’s purchase price at the next sale.

Loss Due to Death

If a bull dies through no fault of the customer, Flying H Genetics will supply a replacement as close to the original bull as possible. As with the loss due to injury, the customer can keep the bull until the end of the season and either keep him as a replacement or exchange for full credit on a future purchase.

Cost

The warranty costs 5 percent of the purchase price of the animal, which is due at the time of purchase. If a customer does not purchase the warranty, they assume all loss due to death or injury.
