DELIVERY-
Flying H Genetics has offered
limited free delivery for 20 years as a customer service and because we think it
is important to visit your ranch, see your cattle and make sure our cattle are
helping you produce the genetics you want.
Since we sell cattle
nationwide, fuel and equipment costs force us to put some limits on free
delivery. The seed stock business, like all other businesses, must address the
costs of product delivery as part of their overall customer service plan.
To treat every customer fairly
we have established the following delivery policy:
A.
Every animal
valued over $1500 will be delivered free within 200 miles of
Animal’s location.
B.
Any group of
animals with an average value over $1500 and a combined value over $15,000 will
be delivered free within the 48 United States.
C.
All other animals
valued over $1500 will be delivered the first 200 miles free with additional
miles charged at the rate of $1.00/mile prorated per head with freight charges
guaranteed not to exceed $250 per head. For example, if we have five head to be
delivered 400 miles and they don’t qualify for free delivery under “B” then the
cost per head would be (400 miles – 200 miles free = 200 miles x $1.00 = $200 or
$40 per head).
D.
Animals valued
less than $1500 will be delivered on a case by case basis.
